About me

Most of my life has been spent in Mexico City, a city that I love and where I was born in the spring of 1965. I come from a small family of three members: my sister Edith, my mother Alicia and myself. I am Computer Science Engineer graduated from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, my alma mater.

When I was young I had studied some photography in the high school, since then it has been one of my favorite endeavors. I used to have a color and B/W lab that was replaced by photo editing software. My nostalgia still demands the old ways of doing photos but the ecosystem is thankful about the new digital means.

Anything I could now about music is due a couple of very good friends of mine: Cesar Bernal and Leonardo Coral. Cesar is the virtuoso pianist who taught me to play piano. Leonardo is a brilliant contemporary music composer. I certainly have to thank them what I could possibly know about music, event though the piano itself claims the opposite.

The world of Letters is close to me because of Aura Calderón. We have three children: Carlos, Frida and Miguel Angel. They are the main reason behind the idea about moving to Finland and where we live plus our need to travel.
